Yesterday I discovered the experience of cold showers. Due to some unknown environmental factor my shower would not output warm water (it later reverted to standard operation). Being very sweaty after a bike ride, I was set on taking a shower so I just used the cold water. It was great!
Not super enjoyable to start, but once I got going it was very enjoyable. Similar to taking a dip in a pool on a hot day.
In the evening I found myself getting sleepy right around 11pm. This is exactly what I would hope for, and something that does not always happen. I'm not sure if this was at all related to the cold shower, so more experimentation is needed.
> [!important] How often do you submerge yourself in cold water?
My immediate thought after the experience was about how novel it was. I can't remember the last time I experienced that much cold water (I do not go swimming very often).
