%% ![[recordings/2025-01-18T03-35-40-862Z.mp4]] %% During the winter, it's often gloomy and gray. It feels like the entirety of Taipei is enveloped in a monochrome haze. However, on a few days each month during this season, the weather can be absolutely beautiful. On those days, you might experience: - Sunny skies - Comfortable temperatures (not too hot) - The option to wear a light jacket, though it’s often unnecessary When the sun shines and the air is clear, everything appears crystal clear. There's so much green here; we live in a jungle. On those bright winter days, it feels and looks like something straight out of an anime[^1]. %% ![[recordings/2025-01-18T03-37-49-175Z.mp4]] %% I always say that during the winter, as long as it's sunny, the weather's going to be amazing. I stand by that. If Taiwan's winters were less prone to being overcast, we would have several months of magnificent weather. But of course, that is not to be. In Taipei, it's usually overcast and gray. The city in the winter often appears monochrome. However, on those occasions when the sun does decide to come out and the clouds retreat, everything is beautiful. It's also worth being thankful that we get seasons at all here. In many parts of Asia, it's just hot all the time—24/7, every day of the year. But here, we experience winter and, of course, summer, which is hot and humid. The winter months are lovely. Even when it's overcast and dreary outside, it's an excellent time to get work done. And when the sun does come out, it's the perfect opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.
